Youth Ideas Competition 2024 is a series of competitions organized by the National Battery Research Institute (NBRI-YIC 2024). NBRI-YIC 2024 aims to be a forum for participants to share their international-level ideas and innovation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can participants from different universities form a team?

No, all team members must be from the same university, but they can be from different batches, majors, departments, or faculties.

Can we submit multiple abstracts for different topics?

Each team is only allowed to submit one abstract. However, participants can be part of multiple teams, as long as they are the team leader for only one team.

Can a team make changes to their abstract after submission but before the deadline?

Yes, teams can make changes to their abstract until the submission deadline. After the deadline, no further changes will be accepted.

What happens if the presentation day coincides with an academic commitment?

Participants are encouraged to plan. If there is a conflict, they should inform the organizers as soon as possible to discuss potential solutions, though flexibility is not guaranteed.

What are the consequences of not adhering to the formatting guidelines?

Abstracts that do not adhere to the specified formatting guidelines will be disqualified.

How will participants be informed about updates or changes in the competition schedule?

All updates or changes will be announced via email to the team leader and posted on the official competition website and social media accounts.

Ticket Purchase

  • The tickets must be purchased through the official event website.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • The ticket price is determined based on the participant’s preferred attendance option, as detailed in the ‘Preferred Attendance Option Pricing’ section

Preferred Attendance-Based Ticket Pricing

  • Participants must select the ticket price category corresponding to their preferred attendance option at the time of purchase. The categories are as follows:
    • In-Person
    • Online
  • Prices for Online and In-person attendance are vary and will be clearly listed on the event website.

Ticket Payment

  • Payment for tickets must be made in full at the time of purchase.
  • All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be provided except in the case of event cancellation.
  • If the event is canceled, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled date.

In-Person Entry and Attendance

  • Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket.
  • All attendees must present a valid ticket for entry.

Online Attendance

  • Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with link and access key to event meeting platform.
