As part of the Road to Indonesia Battery Summit (IBS) 2025, the National Battery Research Institute (NBRI) participated in the High-Level Indonesia–Vietnam Business Dialogue, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening regional collaboration in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives and accelerating sustainable development across Southeast Asia.

The dialogue brought together government representatives, industry leaders, and strategic stakeholders from both Indonesia and Vietnam to discuss opportunities for deeper cooperation in sustainable industries, clean energy transition, and responsible supply chain development. The discussion also highlighted the growing importance of ESG principles in shaping resilient and competitive regional industries, particularly in the battery and electric vehicle ecosystem.
Through its participation, NBRI emphasized the importance of cross-border partnerships, knowledge exchange, and harmonized sustainability standards to support the development of a transparent, responsible, and globally competitive battery value chain in ASEAN. Strengthening Indonesia–Vietnam cooperation is expected to create new opportunities for investment, innovation, and human capital development while reinforcing the region’s position in the global energy transition.

As Indonesia moves toward hosting the Indonesia Battery Summit (IBS) 2025, initiatives such as this business dialogue demonstrate the importance of international collaboration in advancing sustainability, accelerating clean energy adoption, and building a more integrated and responsible battery ecosystem for the future.
